Why are politicians so adamantly pushing illegal immigration? Could the supporters be Racist?

Why would our politicians support illegal immigration? What are their motives for creating amnesty? Supporters will say that it is the humane thing to do. They do not want to separate families. Under this assumption we should no longer imprison mothers or fathers who commit crimes. We should not imprison sons, daughters, brothers or sisters. If we apply the entire immigration debate we should not imprison cousins, aunts or uncles of US citizens.

Some will say these illegal immigrants are only looking for a better life, doing jobs Americans will not do. This argument holds as much water as pasta colander. There are no jobs Americans will not do. Perhaps they will not do some jobs as slave labor or move to an area for a short period of time to work for minimum wage but all jobs have an equilibrium price. More importantly, why have we decided that illegal immigrants from Mexico and South America should get these jobs? What about the millions of refugees from around the world? How about the famine stricken African countries? Would these people not do the same jobs, perhaps for less money?

Politicians are not the brightest tools in the shed. They see that numerically the US is losing the battle of numbers. The European Union now counts 30% citizens and a larger GDP than the US. China’s population dwarfs the US. India is moving quickly up the “number of citizens” totem pole. US politicians believe that allowing savage immigration will help them remain important on the world stage. Even China understands that there must be balance between population and resources. China has enacted strict 1 child per couple laws in order to reduce its population.

That still does not answer why politicians want Mexicans and South Americans. Poorly educated people have more children and are easier to influence politically. Our neighbors to the border are primarily Christian. Our politicians think this is manna from heaven. Hispanics are preferable to Arabs, Slavs, Orientals, Africans and Europeans. Our politicians believe these are the perfect slaves to be preyed upon by the corporate and political machines without creating significant cultural changes. Simply said they are racist. All of those promoting amnesty without supporting free open borders from all nations are racist. They believe Mexican and Southern American Immigrants are better than anyone else.

Every time you hear that comedian knocking on the anti amnesty groups ask yourself if he makes the same type of statements supporting the refugees from Africa. Whenever you hear the LULAC or ACLU speak ask yourself, “Are they doing the same thing for immigrants from Burma or Darfur?” If you cannot say that they would support these other peoples then they are RACIST.

Michael Moore irks me!

I admit, Michael Moore irks me. Whenever I hear him speak my blood boils, not for what he is saying but for the sensationalist tone he uses. A debate is not a shouting match. If someone has to shout to get their point across it is because they do not have the supporting arguments for their thesis. I have not seen his movie. Most likely I will not see his movie, but then I do not go to theaters to see movies. My perception is that he is right on with his latest endeavor Sicko. One phrase out of the jabber caught my attention, “For Profit Companies should not have anything to do with healthcare!”

He explains that the two are incompatible. Again, I agree. Unfortunately, his argument loses value because of the way he expresses himself. The position seems to be, religious right against public healthcare. Liberal left wants healthcare for everyone. I am amazed at the difference of positions. The religious right should be for the utopian society of each individual has according to his needs (they call it Heaven, Paradise, Celestial Kingdom, et al).

The discussion is way off track. The discussions are America is great! Everyone wants to come to America. Silvio Berlusconi came to America to have heart surgery, he did not stay in Italy. Silvio Berlusconi is one of Italy’s richest and most hated men. There may have been other reasons he came to the US. My mother in law had major heart surgery 30 years ago. In the US she would have died. Not because an American hospital could not perform the surgery simply because she could not have afforded it.

This is the real question. A civilization is great or not based on the opportunities it affords to every individual. The two things that influence an individual’s capability to succeed and levels the playing field between those born into money and the rest of us are education and healthcare. Italy, as does the rest of the free world offers free education through college and they also offer free (yes free) medical care for the rest of the population. You can still go to a private college and pay a lot of money. You can also go to a private hospital and pay for any treatment you desire, be treated like a king, and have an entire floor just for you if you want. Silvio Berlusconi came to the US. The popes (much more powerful) go to the Gemelli in Rome.

The debate we must have is whether or not WE THE PEOPLE believe that every child is of equal value or do the children of some have more value than the children of others. The religious right should be clamoring for national healthcare. They should be speaking loudly for free university. Hillary Clinton should be calling for free Universities and not for HB1 visa for Indian companies and more money to reeducate displaced Americans. If congress can pass legislation to save a woman in a coma they should be able to all come together to create a national healthcare system.

Americans are Lazy –Beginning of the End of the Republican Party

“American workers are lazy, angry, unkempt, unhygienic…” Elaine Chao. Obviously the labor Secretary is not a student of history. These same words, spoken by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan in the early 80s, ushered in the end of Japan’s economic expansion and the beginning of a twenty year long recession. The Japanese government quickly apologized and the politician was “retired”. This should have blown over. It should not have influenced Japan’s economy as it did.


The reason this tanked Japan’s economy is that the phrase was not just the words of an arrogant politician. They were a general feeling in corporate Japan and corporate America. Initially there were calls for boycotts that did not work. This should have ended there instead Americans made choices over time, they removed their investments from Japanese companies and when choosing a product, “Made in Japan”, became a negative characteristic.

Elaine Chao’s comments are pretty bad for a US labor secretary. More importantly they represent corporate America’s and the Republican parties thoughts about US workers. This too will blow over, already very few blogs are talking about it. Mass media outlets are not carrying the Secretary’s comments. It does represent the disconnect between the Republican Party and its electorate. It also represents Corporate America’s disdain for those who buy their products. If history teaches us anything we will look back on this moment, in twenty years, and say, “Remember the Republican Party? How did they ever get so far away from those who they represent?”

This may also be a good time to start looking at the company you work for in a different light. Is this what they think about you?

International Labor Day and screwing the US citizen

Somehow it seems appropriate that national demonstrations would occur on May 1, International Labor Day. While this celebration is based on horrendous atrocities propagated by a former president of the US against the middle class workers, the rest of the world has adopted this day as an opportunity to express their desire for social change. Across the US illegal immigrants are protesting for their “rights” to be legalized through Amnesty since they were able to illegally enter the US without getting caught. It also seems appropriate that just as Grover Cleveland killed striking US workers in cold blood that this day would be used to kill the US worker by passing legislation to open up US borders to the floods of less fortunate from around the world.

In a time where the US economy is under performing the rest of the world our politicians want to guarantee an inexhaustible source of slave labor to corporate America. These same politicians and business leaders are proposing cutting or eliminating contractual benefits already paid for by the working American. They are also proposing cuts to healthcare for injured military personnel, otherwise we will have to raise taxes. We can subsidize corporate America, going to war to protect American interests (read business investments in unstable parts of the world), but we cannot raise taxes on the corporations to pay for the services they are receiving.

Screw the American worker, we can always replace him with an immigrant from another country! We should be demonstrating in the streets. Protesting against corrupt politicians. Protesting against collusion between Government and Business. This is our country. Today we vote and our vote needs to say that we will not allow these politicians to continue to go against the will of the American people. Vote against any politician supporting Amnesty. Vote against any politician not supporting securing our borders. Vote against any politician not actively working to free our border agents unjustly convicted for doing their job.

Increase Immigration’s Quotas: We need more slaves!

This week the congress held hearings on the HB1 Visa quota. They heard Bill Gates say, “There is a tremendous shortage of qualified workers in the US market.” Later the CEO of JP Morgan added his voice, “America’s dominance in the world will fail! We must have access to more educated workers.” Bush sat silently by as Mexico’s President ranked on the US for enforcing some of immigration and labor laws for those poor immigrants who are “doing jobs Americans will not do.”

This is scandalous but I had an experience that greatly disturbed me this week. I met a gentleman in his early 50s. After 20 years of marriage he had just gone through a divorce. In the settlement, his cleaning business was assigned to the wife. He is out of a job. As he told me his story of how he was willing to take any job at any price I could offer him no comfort. His final thoughts deeply disturbed me, “I have no future, I see no way out. The only thing left to do is to end it all.”


I was tremendously taken back. I knew, from my own experience, that his prospects were null. A man who had worked all his life, paid his taxes, paid social security and done the dirty jobs, has no future. I have not been able to write about this until today. Only today my sensibilities became numbed enough to express my thoughts.

There is no shortage of workers. There may be a shortage of slave labor. Companies still ask for credit reports for store clerks. Companies still hire consultants (read freed slaves immediately post Civil War) for jobs that are part of their core business. Companies still respond, “due to the immense volume of resumes we receive we cannot respond to each applicant.” While employment conditions remain at current levels we can safely say that the labor market is flush with untapped capacity. In other words, unemployment is high.

Further evidence of the disastrous condition of the US employment market is that while jobs are being lost, unemployment figures are not moving. Further evidence is that unemployment claims are diminishing. The reason for this anomaly is that there is an underground job market that does not show up in the data. The loss of jobs is not increasing unemployment figures because these workers were not counted in the official data. Government watchdogs estimate that real unemployment is from 8.9% to as high as 12%. This does not include the underemployed workers. These facts are corroborated by the fact that 1% of Americans are homeless and that 33% of the US population is “food insecure!”

While I knew the problem in the US was bad this gentleman and his desperation brought home the concept. The US prides itself on its moral backbone. Religion is about hope, empathy and compassion. Every person needs to look inside their soul and determine if they are ok with the way our government and our duly elected representatives are conducting business. The government is the face of a people. Corruption, greed and lack of ethics in government indicate that WE THE PEOPLE are corrupt, greedy and ethically challenged.

A Great Nation – A Family

Our legislation based on English Common Law which in turn maintains many concepts of Roman Law. In most current Italian law and in much of English Common law the words “with the diligence of a good father of a family” indicate common sense, lack of knowing negligence, and acting in “good faith”. Our nation is a family. Our government, therefore our elected representatives, are our parents. They decide how much of our earnings we are able to keep, allowance, they decide how the family budget will be spent, they decide if the family will assume debt and they determine what activities the family. We the people are simply the children. Our lives nothing more than interludes in the concept of the nation family. We can go and play whatever we want as long as we bring money to the family coffers, taxes.

If we ever disrespect our parents, we are severely punished, usually by going to prison. Just think if you tell a judge he is in conflict of interest, or perhaps you enforce written law even though your parents told you to act differently like the border patrol agents. If the family decides to go to war and there are not enough members willing to fight and possibly die, our parents will choose, perhaps with a lottery, they might even call it a draft. Just as your biological family tells you not wash the dirty laundry in public, those of us who criticize the status quo are ostracized.

Our nation is a family. It is not a democracy. Our freedoms have been usurped by corrupt politicians and corporations influence in the government’s agenda taking the role of Father Master. For a nation to be great it must have a government that reflects the citizens idea of how the country should be run.

To be a great nation we must eliminate the role of FATHER MASTER, selling his children into virtual slavery to fund his vices. The family must take the role to allow each member to pursue happiness, develop their talents and respect the other members of the family.

Government – The Face of the People

It is said that government is the face of its people. I agree with this assertion. History teaches us that when a government is no longer representative of the people, or the values of the society become decadent the government falls. We have seen this with the Roman Empire, the French Revolution, and the end to the colonization era of the old world powers. A nation is nothing more than a big family. The government leaders are the parents and the people the children. This concept is supported by traditional phrases of Mother England and A King and his Subjects. A sovereign’s primary responsibility is to his subjects; a president’s primary responsibility is to the electorate. No matter what form of government takes, the analogy works.

In the series of what makes a nation great, there has been discussion about what parameters can be used. It is thought that this is an impossible study because the adjective great is subjective, merely a perception, something different for each individual. While I can agree that the perception of a great nation can be subjective there are certain characteristics that easily define what is not a great nation. By the same assumption any nation to be considered great must provide certain things. The degree of greatness can be discussed but the basic necessities must exist.

It is human tendency to believe that the success of something we feel we are a part of means that we are better than someone else. Sport is the best example of this. When YOUR TEAM wins the division, YOU ARE NUMBER ONE! In reality the fans have little or nothing to do with the success of a Sport Franchise other than to pay for tickets providing a return on investment to the owners of the team. When a team wins, our hopes are realized, we celebrate, sometimes we fight when others do not support the same team and sometimes people die. A nation is the same thing. We often blindly support our government because the government is, in reality, a sum of who we are.

This desire to feel good about ourselves, to hope, to believe we are better than everyone else inhibits us from looking at our country, its culture, the way of life. This is more true if we find ourselves in the upper echelons of society. If we did it, anyone can. We made it because we are willing to sacrifice more, we work harder, and we make greater sacrifices. Our success is only due to our drive to succeed.

For these reasons, the idea of examining our nation to see if we are great is ludicrous. Of course we are number one. Of course everyone in the world want to come here. Of course our way of government will be heralded and embraced by every nation in the world. Of course our way of doing business is the only way. Of course it is our responsibility to go to war and eliminate those who see things differently and may obstruct the expansion of our ideals.

What makes a Country Great?

Over the holidays I have had the opportunity to spend evenings well into the early morning hours speaking with friends from all walks of life. Democrats, Republicans and Moderates all frequented my dinner table. Democrats are exuberant about the possibility to punish the evil Mr. Bush, Republicans are despondent about a new era of taxes and the separation of church and state, and Moderates are disillusioned with the political class doing what they want instead of following the will of the people.

A few days ago Mr. Edwards announced that he is running for President. Many commentators are criticizing Mr. Edwards for his populous stance. I do not like Mr. Edwards; somehow his image concerns me but his critics make me ask,

“Why would anyone be criticized for following the will of the electorate?”

Has it become so accepted that Joe Citizen does not count?

Is Corporate America the only constituent that our politicians need to appease?

As I consider the thoughts and opinions of my friends I believe their ideas about what is important is not significantly different. Somehow they have been polarized over the years to believe that one party or another will be better at leading the country to a better future while the moderates have primarily given up. A good friend, whose opinion I respect greatly stated, “Trying to change politicians is wasted time, I have found other, more efficient, ways to utilize my energies in creating a better world for my children.”

I will explore over the next days the things that are important to me. The things I think make a country great. Perhaps from these thoughts, WE THE PEOPLE, can find common ground and take our country back so that we can be involved in creating a truly great country.

Congress passes laws reflecting their Constituent’s wishes

The 109th Congress finished its business last week. On their last day of business they passed legislation regarding which, true to form, showed who their real constituents are. Do you think they passed Minimum Wage legislation or Financed the Border Security Bill already passed but not funded? No, they had to pass legislation to extend tax cuts for the top ½ of 1 % of the population of the US!

I am impressed by the arrogance of our government and the politicians who represent us. They lie to us telling us they will act in one way and once they are elected they then think only of their pockets notwithstanding there are numerous voices calling for responsibility. We cannot even change them because the current two party system and corporate fundraising excludes those candidates who are qualified and represent Joe Citizen. So what shall we do?

The new Congress is already talking about doing things the representatives had indicated they would not do. Investigations into this and that, Amnesty for criminal aliens and an open border policy with a country that not only cannot secure its own borders but cannot control organized crime exploding on the US border. The US is their steam valve. Just let their poor immigrate to the US. The only US constituents this represents is again, Corporate America, attempting, and succeeding in driving down wages, making the rich, richer and the poor, poorer.

The US was born as a melting pot however this shortsighted immigration policy in a mature market has changed the melting pot to a pressure cooker. If the steam cannot be released there will be an explosion. What can we expect from this rosy future? We can expect the government to used the armed forces against the civil population as it has done in the past. Have we forgotten Grover Cleveland using the secret service to kill the striking workers of Chicago, or the students at Kent State under fire from the National Guard?

It is time for responsibility in government the corruption must end. How can we expect to be the beacon of peace and democracy when we cannot get our own government to represent Joe Citizen the voter?

Border Patrol Agents – The real story – Governmental officials using their office to forward personal agenda

I am somewhat amazed at the “ho ha” regarding the conviction of our law enforcement personnel in Homeland Security for pursuing, shooting, failing to file a written report regarding the shooting of a foreign national smuggling drugs across the US – Mexico border and most importantly not accepting a guilty plea when it is clear that homeland security does not want our border patrol officers to enforce the law. The homeland, under our government’s distorted view of the world, stretches from the North Pole to the South Pole and spans the globe. These officials feel that our immigration policy is outdated and that Mexican citizens not only have the right to enter this country with drugs but are entitled to do so. These officials are: Christopher Sanchez, an investigator with the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General, gee I wonder where his family is from, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Debra Kanof, check out the photograph, I bet her ancestors are from Northern Europe.


The real problem is that these individuals in the department of homeland security have personal agendas. They think the law is wrong so they have instituted procedures making it impossible for border agents to do their job. Should some poor agent actually believe that he has a duty to protect his country and enforce the laws, stepping over these procedures then these people use their position of power to crush those who do not bow to their authority no matter what the law indicates.

Before everyone gets off on a, “you are a racist”, rant. Please note the obvious ancestral origins of Officer Jose Alonso Compean. American is not about where your ancestors are from or how long you have been in the US, it is about obeying and enforcing laws of the elected government. These officers fulfilled their duties, they are Americans, while the U.S. Attorney felt that her personal beliefs supercede the laws of this country. We must ask to what country she is loyal? Perhaps she is one of the Mexicans carrying the Mexican protesting in the Center of Dallas for her rights?

Where is the oversight of this rogue agency? Where is the investigation into an investigator of the Homeland security office who has closest enough ties to receive a phone call from the mother of a convicted drug smuggler, illegal alien?

If these are the people responsible to guarantee the protection of our borders and thwart terrorist activities we must simply thank god that the terrorists have not decided to attack again.

Politicians, this is the oversight we need. We all know about Iraq, it’s a bad story but common knowledge. Do your job, investigate the department of homeland security and these blatant infractions of US law.

Already forgot the Voter

Less than three weeks have passed since the election and already politicians have decided the voter’s wishes are no longer important. I feel used, dirty; I need a shower. “Out damn spot, Out!” I scrub with pumas stone and still I feel violated. Enough drama?

The fact is that politicians are corrupt. They believe they can do anything they want no matter what they promise. Joe Citizen is not important. We can cut him into pieces and sell him on the world markets. Even though the Democrat’s leadership promised no witch hunts, we have ever increasing rhetoric about inquisitions and impeachment of this or that politician. In the first 100 hours we will raise the minimum wage. To what?

A measly $7.35 that still does not cover the losses to inflation while politicians increase their own salaries! We will fight Pork spending. So what have they done? In the spirit of true cooperation the Democrats and Republicans reached across the isle to pass legislation with even more pork. Isn’t it great when we all get along.

Politicians are talking about everything except the issues for which they were elected. SECURE OUR BORDERS! SECURE OUR PORTS! STOP COLLUDING WITH CORPORATIONS!

We have serious problems. Unemployment is rampant; wages are falling (no matter what the governmental data says). Politicians have spent the equity our nation has created and placed us with $47 trillion in debt.

It is time for all who love this nation to rise up and fight for what is ours. This nation is not just for the politicians or corporate moguls. It is made up of you and me, working Joes trying to make a better life for our children. Yet, WE THE PEOPLE, are losing the battle. In north Texas 1 out of 8 people does not know where dinner will come from. These are not people without a job. These are hardworking people unfortunate enough to have been reduced to slavery by collusion between corporate America and politicians.

We can win this battle but the time to sit by and watch is over. Every time a politicians talks about their interests we need to shout out what are our concerns and remind them of how and why they were elected. If they will not listen we need to immediately initiate every means legally available to remove them from office. The will of Joe Citizen is clear. Forget the spin and remember you are not alone. Speak your voice, clear and loud, together we can beat political corruption and eliminate the collusion between politics and companies.

Read the Bill – Hope in the fight against the Cancer of Corruption

The most important problem in the US culture today, and the most insidious and difficult to eliminate, is collusion between Corporate America and Politicians. This position seems superficial and out of touch with reality. There are millions of Americans without health insurance, wages are dropping making slaves out of US workers, increasing international tensions are on the daily news, wars and rumors of wars are part of our daily lives so how can this be the most important question of the day.


All of these problems are serious and should be forefront in our minds but they are symptoms of a greater illness, a cancer that has spread into the daily life of every American. This cancer is corruption. It is our politicians taking money for campaigns, perk trips here and there, and vacations all paid for by big business. Why would corporate America, so concerned with margins and bottom line performance give so much money to politicians. The answer is as simple as the first thought that enters your mind, they are buying favorable legislation. Fighting increases in minimum wages, fighting against legislation that would end predatory lending and usury by financial institutions, fighting worker’s rights to organize labor unions, fighting against securing our borders to allow plentiful slave labor, buying cheap access the US military machine to protect their interests, fighting against progress in new energies, are all things that companies are willing to pay billions of dollars to maintain “business as usual”. These are the same things that result in the very problems that are the greatest ills of the American society.

This is not going to change, at least not without some extreme event. The US consumer, no longer the citizen, has been sold body and soul to the corporation. The cancerous cells of corporate interests permeate every aspect of our lives and our government. This cancer is so extended that we cannot eliminate this parasitic tumor without killing the patience. A sad prognosis, some will want to take the easy way out and live out their final days in ignorant bliss, shopping till they drop. Others will fight, every step of the way. Winded, tired and ridiculed they will fight to limit the damage, to win, to survive.

I recently found an initiative that I found extremely interesting. The information is found on Read the Bill. There is proposed legislation that would require that new legislation be published on the Internet for 72 hours before the bill could be open for discussion. I am not clear if all amendments would also have to be published 72 hours before a vote could be called. There are also all of the provisions included that exclude certain types of bills from this law. Most likely those bills would be just the ones we want the most. Think for a moment if the budget had to be published before going to vote, or let’s say increases in politician’s salaries, or say throwing away $2 billion on a virtual fence that would be much better accomplished with good old chain link.

It is a start. Please read what they have to say. Whether you agree with them or not I see no good reason why our political process should be so obscure when our private lives have been sold to the corporations. If the Supreme Court says that the individual, “has no expectation of privacy,” why is it different for the laws that influence our lives and the lives of future generations?

Elected Officials - Get on Topic

Well, I guess I should not be surprised. The newly elected politicians, between extravagant lunches, dinners and outings all paid for by corporate America’s lobbyists, are wasting time with this and that hearing about things past. This is not what we elected you to do. Get serious. We have serious problems. We need serious people not self-centered, stuck up, corrupt jerks thinking about the next elections and getting your airtime. Do your job and you will be re-elected. Do not and WE THE PEOPLE will take action. You do not have two years. Every day is important and must be utilized to do the bidding of your constituents.

You probably think you are so cool, pandering to small interest groups. Impeach this, hold a hearing on that, raising your voice to publicly express your disappointment or disagreement with this or that person.

I can hear you back in your office after the news bite, “I sounded so good, I hope Joe Blow got the message. I am out for blood. I will be avenged!”

Who cares? Get over yourself. We have $47 trillion in public debt. A terrorist can kill a million people simply by tainting some spinach. Calling our borders a sieve would be a compliment. People are dying because they cannot get appropriate healthcare. Families are being destroyed because one or both parents have to work all the time and can no longer do the most important job, raising the kids.

Remember the things that are important.

Secure our borders. Finance the fence and pass legislation to secure the remaining unprotected border. When you talk of being strong on national security while an elephant can walk across the border with a Mariaci band playing and television cameras filming without being confronted by border patrol, you look a bit stupid.

Pass legislation making it a felony to hire or harbor illegal aliens, including religious institutions. You say, “These are people they must be treated with respect. When so many “Important People” do not understand that breaking the law is the precursor to being illegal. Perhaps our compassion would be better employed on the millions of US citizens who can no longer get the health care they need even though they have worked and contributed to this great nation all of their lives.


Pass minimum wage laws raising the minimum wage to $8.35 with automatic increases based on real inflation, not CPI. If you cannot see the value of “a fair days work for a fair days pay” then you should not be representing the hardworking citizens of the United States. Perhaps we should have a referendum concerning congressional pay and perks.



Pass legislation requiring all shipments to be inspected by humans with the most advanced technology available. The costs must be paid by the shipper, not the taxpayer. Again, its is all about Hypocrisy and the association of true costs of production. We cannot take liquids on an airplane or use a metal butter knife but we can ship a container with radioactive material and blow-up, lets say, Washington DC. It is idiotic to talk about making the US safer engaging in worldwide politics when we leave our home front wide open. Before thinking about IRAN or N. KOREA, let’s control our borders. I will bet that just about every politician has an alarm system on his home. Why are the rest of us less important?



Pass legislation eliminating all PORK spending no amendments off topic. WE THE PEOPLE are tired of Washington throwing our money away so that they can get personal gain. WE THE PEOPLE are feeling poor, we are working two sometimes three jobs just to make it to the end of the month. We do not care who proposes PORK spending. Stop it completely. No off-topic amendments should ever be allowed on legislation. Remember if our husband or wife spends more than what we have or buys some frivolous item when we are having a hard time paying our bills, we divorce them. In this case, them is not an individual, it is the entire existing political class.

Make Political Collusion a felony with a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years. I have heard so many times that political collusion is a victimless crime. Bullhonkey! Everyone pays taxes, rich and poor. We pay taxes before we buy food for our kids. Your victimless crimes continue to take food out of the mouth of children. Your victimless crimes make it so that a young student cannot attend the college of choice. Your victimless crimes kill the sick and elderly because they have to pay for your collusion instead of buying medicines. This is manslaughter and should be treated as such.

Define what a citizen is. Legal entities are not citizens. Citizens are flesh and blood. I know this would break your heart, individuals will not give you kick-backs to be able to maintain their job, but this must be defined. Perhaps again we need a referendum. If you cannot see the obvious perhaps we need to substitute congress with popular vote.

We want our Privacy back. Do something useful and create privacy laws making it a felony for companies or anybody else to keep our data, exposing us to fraud and theft. Do the things above and this problem will most likely take care of itself.
