Opening the Debate: Renouncing Reaganomics!

The recent problems and the current recession have created the environment for a discussion about US economic policy. There are numerous positions and suggestions about what needs to happen. While the “Goldilocks campers”, better known as Cowboy Capitalists, have been talking about how the FED made mistakes by not intervening in a way to make stocks go higher the more serious economists are talking eliminating, or regulating, the FED, returning to a gold based economy, eliminating tax breaks for large corporations, creating barriers for goods produced with child labor and enforcing US product safety laws. Just as a side note, I find it most interesting that the Cowboy Capitalists are the ones crying foul for the government not intervening in the economy.

I am pleased to see that this discussion is taking place. Strangely enough it seems as if some legislators have begun to listen to you and me, “WE THE PEOPLE.”
